This headband uses a classic knit stitch pattern to create a double-layered headband thick enough to wear during cold times.

This pattern design is worked flat and can be adapted to any length from baby, children/adolescents and adult size.

This pattern is designed for a 20” adult sized headband. The width of the headband is 4 1/4 inches (10.7 cm) wide. Please refer to the table guide guide in the display photos for your recommended headband size measurements.

The pattern is written in English.

The pattern is easy to read and understand, and ideal for beginner knitters. Understanding the basics of how to knit and purl is necessary for this pattern.

Suggested yarn to use:

any chunky/bulky, super chunky/super bulky or Aran/ heavy worsted weight yarns.

Required needle size is:

• 7 mm (US Size 10 1/2 or US size 11 depending on your gauge) for the chunky and heavier yarns.

• 6 mm (US size 10) for the Aran/ heavy worsted weight yarns.
